Love the fried chicken thighs because they're boneless! The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Staff is usually friendly. They also have country boy beer. I recommend the cougar bait. 10/22/23 update still absolutely delicious! Boneless thighs are so good omg.

Service was great! Jen was nice and led me in the right direction when placing my order as it was my first time! With me being from TN and having hot chicken from all around Nashville, Joella’s could fit right in! Everything was yummy the only thing for me I’ll go a little hotter next time! I’ll be back!
Is it even possible to go wrong with a Hot Chicken Sammy... The answer is: absolutely not.
I visited in December 2022 and ordered chicken, fries and drink. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was fresh, hot and pretty good.
The quarter dark and big wings are very tender, juicy, crispy and yummy! The thigh is less juicy so I won't recommend it. I saw a lot of local folks here during lunch time. It must be a good place to visit if you are craving for fried chicken!
Had an awesome experience here. The food was amazing. We tried the Jumbo Tenders plate with the Kale crunch salad and Parm Garlic Fries in the “Tweeners” heat level. So good. Still plenty of kick. We also tried the Heat Variety Pack of tenders which has one tender in each heat level. Really good but beware of the spiciest one. It is really really hot. The Mac and cheese is good as well. It meets the typical expectation of what you would think it should taste like. We also had the chicken and waffles. Delicious. They have plenty of seating. The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff was very friendly. One of the workers even wished us a good day as we were leaving.
First timer! This place is very similar to Hattie B’s. Service was good, the young lady that took our order was friendly and helpful. She explained a few things on the menu to us which was helpful. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders- heat level “Ella’s fav” with fried pickles and garlic parmesan fries. Ella’s fav is a mix between flavor & heat. This was perfect, the tenders truly had both. They were freshly made and juicy! The fried pickles are new (according to a sign) which were great and the garlic parm fries had the flavor but were cold. I was able to speak with the manager about it (not complaining but just feedback) and he was very nice and accommodating about it even though it was ok. I really appreciated that! There’s ice tea was pretty freaking delicious. Definitely will be back and Thank you for the kind hospitality!
